Mr. Campbell joined ZMM in 2017 and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. The majority of Mr. Campbell’s career has focused on the design of educational facilities (K-12 and Higher Education) in the state of West Virginia. Chris has been involved in projects that have been honored with design awards and achieved LEED Gold Certification.

In addition to educational projects, Mr. Campbell has been involved in the design and project management on a variety of projects, including commercial, automotive dealerships, government facilities, justice (Homeland Security and Department of Justice), and religious spaces. Chris’s project responsibilities comprised all duties from project inception to completion.

In addition to his design and project management responsibilities, Chris has taken on the role of mentoring architectural graduates at ZMM. He has helped to ease the transition from academia to the profession and helps to ensure that recent graduates make a successful transition into the practice of architecture.

Mr. Campbell is a Registered Architect (West Virginia and Virginia); Professional Member, American Institute of Architects; Professional Member and Past President, West Virginia Chapter of the American Institute of Architects; and Professional Member, US Green Building Council.

He currently serves as the chair of the Charleston Land Reuse Agency. Chris resides in Charleston, West Virginia with his wife Heidi and their son.
