The project was a comprehensive renovation to the existing high school along with a secure entrance addition.

The original facility was constructed in 1952, with additions in the early 1980s. The entire facility was renovated to include new lighting, HVAC, and upgraded power, data, and communications systems.

New finishes were provided throughout the structure, along with improvements to accessibility and modifications to improve the function of the building spaces.

The administrative wing was reconfigured to provide more centralized office spaces and more control over entry to the building. Classrooms were reconfigured to provide a learning environment which better aligns with modern standards. Collaborative learning spaces were provided, and the library was converted to a media center, providing access to a broader range of educational materials. The entry now provides a more prominent, visible entrance to the building. It houses an office for the school resource officer and provides secure vestibules for controlled entry to the school.
